Well, we are getting some snow throughout Northern New
Jersey. It is starting briefly as rain
in many areas but it does rather quickly change to snow. Most areas will only get a dusting though
with only the higher elevations possibly getting as much as an inch. After this passes it will remain cold with
highs only in the mid to upper 30’s today and tomorrow and the low will reach
the low to mid 20’s tomorrow morning and the mid to upper 20’s on Thursday
morning. Temperatures will start to warm
on Thursday with the high reaching the mid to upper 40’s, then the low to mid
50’s for Friday through Sunday. There
will be a slight chance of a shower on Saturday and a chance of a shower on
Sunday and Monday. The showers should
become more numerous on Monday night and they will likely be heavy at times
next Tuesday as a cold front approaches.
Things will then cool down again behind the front, then warm again
gradually as we head into the following weekend, prior to the next frontal
passage.
