American Model Update - IMPORTANT CHANGES!!!

The American model is now putting more energy in the southern stream, just like the European and British models have been doing, and it is now on board for a major Nor'easter for Thursday night into Friday.  In addition, it is now bringing EXTREMELY COLD AIR HERE FOR NEXT WEEK, starting on Tuesday, with high temperatures only in the single digits to low teens most of the week after Monday, and low temperatures possibly dropping below zero each night.  This would continue into next weekend.  So, throw out any chance of rain next week at all according to the American model.  It does just miss us to the east with the second Nor'easter late on Sunday into Monday, but let's wait to see what the other models say, especially the European model.  The model also already has the next storm showing up after this for Tuesday, January 14th, so every three to four days or so.  I have to admit, the European model had already shown this cold air for next week but I was hesitant to buy into it this morning as the European model has done this many times recently, only to see it disappear in the longer term.  Now, the American model looks identical, bringing extremely cold air in here starting on Tuesday.  If this continues on the other models I will do a special-edition 2 week forecast this afternoon.  Let's see what happens now with the other models.
