Latest Snowfall Map from the Short-Range American Model for Tuesday

Click here or on the map below to view the latest snowfall output map from the evening run of the short-range American model.  Note how both American models currently have us down for 4-6 inches of snow.  I see this as being a very realistic possibility at this point.  Our American models are likely to do a better job with this storm, as for some reason they tend to do better with the northern stream storms that drop down from Canada, such as this one.  My last forecast was for 2-5 inches.  I might have to go with 3-6 now.  I will wait till the morning now though to see the over-night runs of the other models.  Start time looks to be between 5 and 7 am on Tuesday with an end time around 12-1 pm on Tuesday.
