Making Some Changes
The two models I am using to help forecast this impending storm for tomorrow have both backed down a bit on the intensity of the storm when it hits the coast, so I am going to back my accumulations down to 2-4 inches for all of Northern New Jersey. The models were predicting that this would blow up a bit more when it hits the coast, hence my higher totals this morning, but the afternoon models are coming in a bit weaker with the storm. Let's see what happens. Below is the latest run of the short-range American model snowfall output map. Either click here to view it or on the map below. This looks very similar to another model that I use for storms such as this, so I am going with this for now.
