Medium-Range American Model for Tuesday Storm

It has increased snowfall amounts now to 2-3 inches on Tuesday morning and is now bringing the snow in earlier, starting around 3:00-4:00 am, with the heaviest of the snow occurring between approximately 5:00-6:00 am and 10:00-11:00 am, and ending around 12:00-1:00 pm.  It then brings a second impulse through on Tuesday night with snow starting around 8:00-9:00 pm and ending around 3:00-4:00 am on Wednesday morning with another 1-2 inches of accumulation.  It actually turns the first impulse into a quickly developing Nor'easter off the coast.  This type of situation needs to be watched closely as these types of storms can develop quite rapidly and often the model does not catch on until the last minute.  This can trend worse still.  In addition, temperatures are quite cold and will be well below freezing.  The only good news is that at least we won't have to worry about any mixing of the precipitation.  This will be all snow.
