I have no idea why it did not get as cold as the European model showed last night, but it didn't, which is nice. Anyway, it will not get above freezing for at least the next week and we will get a storm this weekend with temperatures in the teens and 20`s. The main operational run of the European model has roughly 4.5 inches of snow for us from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning while the European model ensemble mean has the snow changing to sleet and freezing rain with temperatures in the 20's. Let's hope for the snow. Then there will be a chance of a bit more snow on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
