Quick Update
The American and Canadian models look very similar, keeping the northern stream system more dominant, which would keep our snowfall accumulations down to more like 3-6 inches next Thursday into Friday morning, while the British model keeps more energy in the southern stream, developing the low in the Gulf of Mexico next Thursday before taking it up to about Cape Hatteras, NC and deepening it by Friday morning. This track would likely put us more in the 6-12 inch range. I am anxiously awaiting the European model which is a much better model than any of the others in this time range. I should be able to provide some information about what this models shows by about 1:30.
