Saturday, December 14th, 2013 - Evening Weather Discussion

The changeover line is currently running from about Trenton east to just north of Asbury Park.  This line will continue moving north over the next 5 hours, changing everyone over to sleet, freezing rain, and then possibly rain in Northeast New Jersey.  The precipitation will be over by sunrise.  Then the next storm to watch for will be a weak storm that will be dropping down from Canada and will move across our area on Tuesday.  This storm will likely bring us some snow on Tuesday, possibly accumulating to 2 inches.  It will then warm up toward the end of the week with temperatures approaching 50 degrees by early Saturday morning as warm air surges north into our area ahead of a strong cold front.  This will lead to rain or a mix on Saturday and Sunday, and rain or snow next Monday.  Then we may get a bit of snow on Christmas night, followed by the chance of our next storm on Friday, December 27th.  Have a nice evening everyone.  Let it snow!
