I am definitely NOT saying it is correct, but the short-range American model just increased snowfall totals to more like 1-2 inches with some 3 inch totals possible prior to the changeover. It should start changing to sleet around 11pm in Eastern sections and around 12-1 am in Western sections. The changeover to rain should happen between 3am and 7 am from southeast to northwest although there could still be some sleet mixed in after that. If the model is correct and if the sleet does linger into the morning, then there definitely could be some problems with the morning commute on Monday. This was actually a fairly significant change in making this storm appear more significant.
