Medium Range American Model Just Dropped Accumulations Dramatically!
Now the medium-range American model just dropped accumulations dramatically. Honestly, this can go anywhere from being a full-fledged blizzard at this point with more than a foot of snow, to being almost nothing. We will most likely end up somewhere in between the two. Just about every major storm we have ever had has been just as difficult to forecast. Slight changes in initial conditions make huge differences in the eventual outcome. Stay tuned. This is why I have such a huge margin in my forecast and will stick with 4-10 inches for now. We could end up with 4, or even less honestly, to easily more than a foot. I will cut that difference and go with 4-10 for now.
