It is currently snowing in Central New Jersey now and it will be moving into Northern New Jersey shortly. The European model shows most places getting about an inch of snow this morning, except for extreme Eastern sections where temperatures are still above freezing. The European model stll has a significant snowstorm for us on Thursday and it moved the second storm up to Saturday now. The ensemble mean for the Thursday storm is even more impressive than the operational run of the model. The mean shows a beautiful track for the Thursday storm if you want a nice snowstorm in Northern New Jersey, taking the storm south of us and exiting it off the coast over the Delmarva Peninsula, then deepening the storm into a Nor'easter as it moves northeast south of Long Island and Cape Cod. This would bring us a significant snowstorm on Thursday. The National Weather Service forecast for Thursday... Partly Sunny.
