Friday, March 14th, 2014 - Evening Weather Discussion

Follow me @ "TheEdgeWeather" on Twitter.

Tomorrow we will have a chance of a rain or snow shower and it will be warm with a high in the low to mid 50's.

Then on Sunday a storm will be forming over the Southeastern United States and will start moving in our directions.  However, the models took a major turn to the south with the storm today, giving Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Southern New Jersey another significant snowstorm and sparing us from any significant snow.

There remains a slight chance that this storm could turn further north, however at this time that is looking unlikely, as two pieces that were supposed to have come together, no longer look as if they will, which would keep this storm to our south.

I will of course keep a close eye on this situation, but as of right now, this looks like another big snowstorm for the Washington D.C. area.

After this storm passes we will have a chance for some rain on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday night into Sunday morning and again on Monday and Tuesday.

I am not yet ready to declare winter over, but if this one doesn't happen on Monday, I am really close.

We missed one big storm to our south two weeks ago, one to our north yesterday, and now this one may miss us to the south again.

I will let you know tomorrow for sure.  Keep checking back just in case.
