We received the Luck of the Irish this morning, as the
Polar Vortex pushed the storm just far enough to our south to save us from a
snowy ride to work as they are experiencing in Southern New Jersey this morning
with 4-7 inches of snow.
We may get a flurry this morning, otherwise it should be
nice through tomorrow, and then a weak storm will approach on Wednesday,
bringing a chance of some showers, possibly beginning as a bit of snow.
We will then have a very nice and warm Thursday with a high
in the low 50’s.
The next weak storm will occur on Saturday, again possibly
starting as snow early in the morning, but then changing to rain.
The next storm that will be of concern will be toward the
middle of next week as one storm starts to develop along the Gulf Coast on
Monday and Tuesday and another storm drops down from Canada. These two storms may merge into one much
stronger storm along or off the East Coast next Tuesday night and
Wednesday. This will bring us a chance for
snow, but as things have been working so far this month, I would just call my
friends now in Virginia and South Jersey and tell them they have another
significant snowstorm coming. I am just kidding
of course, there is no way to tell yet where exactly this storm will hit, but
it certainly has been working out like that this month so far. Honestly though, if these two pieces come
together the storm could become very intense and we really do need to keep a
close eye on the potential.
Have a great day.
