Thursday, March 13th, 2014 - Evening Weather Discussion

Be sure to sign up for "TheEdgeWeather" on Twitter.

A nice Saturday ahead!  Then, well, I think our luck is over…

Tomorrow will start out cold with a low in the mid to upper teens, and then the high will make it to the mid to upper 40’s.

Saturday will then be beautiful with just a slight chance of a shower in the morning and a high in the mid 50’s.

On Sunday a low will be developing over the Southeastern United States and will then turn in our direction, likely causing snow to develop and will continue through the night and into Monday, possibly ending on Monday morning, or possibly continuing through the day and into early Tuesday morning.  There is the possibility of significant accumulations.  I am not yet ready to give a forecast amount but at the moment 4-8 inches would certainly seem reasonable.  Keep in mind that this number could very easily go higher or lower depending upon how everything works out, so be sure to check back for updates.

Another storm will then approach on Wednesday, bringing another chance for snow in the morning that could change to rain in the afternoon or at night and continue into Thursday.

We will then have a chance of snow showers next Friday.

We will then have a chance of a significant snowstorm next Monday and Tuesday.

Yeah, it just does not want to stop.

Join me here again in the morning for the latest.
