Saturday, April 12th, 2014 - Evening Weather Discussion

Well, we may see some snow or sleet early on Wednesday morning but I would not bank on it.  In fact, the latest run of the European ensembles now shows a 70% chance of at least some flurries or light sleet, and possibly as much as a dusting early on Wednesday morning in Northwest New Jersey, and a 50% chance in Northeast New Jersey.

First though, it will be beautiful tomorrow with only a slight chance of a shower and a high in the upper 70's.

Monday will be another great day with a high in the low to mid 70's.

Tuesday we will then have showers and thunderstorms, heavy at times, with highs in the low to mid 60's but temperatures will drop rapidly to the mid 30's late at night.

Late Tuesday night or early Wednesday the rain could even change to some sleet or snow before ending early on Wednesday morning.  There is even a chance that the snow could accumulate to a light dusting in some of the higher elevations of Northwest New Jersey as lows there may drop to the low 30's.

It looks however as if the larger storm for Wednesday night will not form, leaving us with nice but cool weather on Wednesday and Thursday, with highs in the mid 40's on Thursday and the low 50's on Thursday.

Friday should then be a bit warmer with highs in the upper 50's.

Saturday may end up being a rainy and cool day with a high only in the upper 40's.

Easter Sunday should then be nice with a high in the mid to upper 50's.
