We will have some beautiful weather today with a
high in the mid 50’s, followed by increasing cloudiness tomorrow and rain
developing in the afternoon, becoming heavy at night before ending on Tuesday
morning.
Tuesday afternoon thorough Thursday should then
be quite nice.
Friday morning we will have a chance of a
shower, followed by clearing and nice weather from Friday afternoon through
Monday, with highs reaching the upper 60’s on Friday, the mid 60’s on Saturday
and Sunday, and possibly the low to mid 70’s on Monday.
For next Tuesday and Wednesday an interesting
situation may develop as a strong cold front will approach our area. A
low pressure area is likely to develop along this front, bringing some rain
next Tuesday, and the rain could be heavy at times. The cold front
will then likely move through during the day on Tuesday, causing temperatures
to rapidly drop from the low 60’s to the upper 30’s by Tuesday
night. The front may then stall out in the Gulf of Mexico and
along the East Coast. A storm may then form along this front and
move northeast. There remains about a 20% chance that this storm
could bring us a bit of snow next Tuesday night or Wednesday. It is a
long shot for sure and highly unlikely, but if we did get any measurable snow
with this potential storm it would be the latest measurable snow I have ever
seen. Again, it likely won’t happen, but it would be interesting.
