We likely won’t see 80 degrees again for a
while.
First though, today will be one really crazy day
with temperatures in the low to mid 60’s this morning, with heavy showers and
thunderstorms from time to time. The thunderstorms have a chance to
be quite severe, with very heavy rain, very strong winds, and possibly even isolated
tornadoes. The temperatures will then start to drop late in the day
to around 40 by evening, then to the mid 30’s by midnight. This drop
in temperatures could cause the rain to mix with and then change to sleet and
snow between around 8 and 10 pm, ending around 1-2 am. The snow and
sleet could even accumulate to a dusting to an inch, especially in the higher
elevations as temperatures drop to the mid to upper 20’s by
morning. However, it is more likely that any snow and sleet that
does fall will melt on contact and not accumulate, but we will just have to
wake up on Wednesday morning and see what happens.
Wednesday will then be a nice day, but quite
cool, with highs only in the mid to upper 40’s.
Thursday and Friday will also be quite nice, but
cool with a high around 50 both days.
Saturday there will be a chance of showers with
a high in the mid to upper 50’s.
Easter Sunday should then be quite nice with a
high in the upper 50’s.
Next Monday there will be increasing cloudiness
late in the day with a high in the upper 50’s.
Next Tuesday could be a rainy day as a storm may
form along the coast. This storm could continue the chance of
showers through next Friday with highs in the 50’s to low 60’s.
The following weekend could then be rainy as
another storm forms in our area, with temperatures in the 50’s.
