We will be on a roller coaster of weather and temperatures
this week, followed by cool and showery weather next week.
Today will be the best of the days for the next week with a
high in the mid to upper 70’s.
Tomorrow we will have a chance of a shower or thunderstorm
and it will be quite warm with a high in the mid 80’s.
Tuesday a backdoor cold front (click here for an
explanation) will move through our area, causing temperatures to drop through
the day and bringing us a continued chance for showers. Temperatures will start out in the morning in
the mid to upper 60’s, dropping through the day to the upper 50’s to low 60’s
by afternoon, then to the low to mid 50’s by night.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy and cool with a chance of
a shower and a high only in the upper 50’s.
Thursday should be variably cloudy and warm with a chance of
a shower or thunderstorm, especially at night and a high in the upper 70’s.
Early Friday morning a cold front will move through,
bringing a chance of heavy showers and thunderstorms early in the morning,
followed by clearing and nice weather for Friday afternoon and Saturday with a
high on Friday in the low to mid 70’s, dropping to the upper 60’s for
Saturday.
An upper level low pressure area will then likely stall out
over our area for all of the following week from next Sunday through the
following Saturday, bringing us variably cloudy skies and cool temperatures with
a chance of a shower each day and highs in the 60’s.
