A persistent east wind off the ocean will keep us cool and
somewhat cloudy and possibly damp through tomorrow with highs only in the low
to mid 60’s today, rising to the mid to upper 60’s tomorrow.
The winds will start to turn to the west on Saturday,
allowing things to start clearing out and warming up just a bit to the upper 60’s
on Saturday and around 70 on Sunday.
Then next week the weather pattern will change quite a bit
and it looks warm through the rest of the two week period, albeit with at least
a chance of a shower or thunderstorm almost every day. Highs will be near 80 from Monday through
Saturday of next week, dropping to the low to mid 70’s next Sunday and Monday
before rising to near 80 once again next Tuesday and Wednesday.
And yes, there is still a chance of a tropical system developing in the Gulf of Mexico early next week (around Monday June 9th). We shall see.
