Thursday, May 8th, 2014 - Morning Weather Discussion

We have a chance to break 90 degrees on Tuesday…

First though, we will have some showers this morning with a bit of clearing possible later this morning and this afternoon.  It will also be cool with a high around 60.

Tomorrow we will have a chance of a shower in the morning and at night with a high in the mid to upper 60’s.

This weekend we will have high temperatures in the mid 70’s, but there will be a chance of showers on Saturday.

Early next week it will get hot and humid as warm air surges north into our area ahead of an approaching cold front on Monday and Tuesday.   Highs may reach the low to mid 80’s on Monday and the upper 80’s to low 90’s on Tuesday!  We will however have a chance of some showers or thunderstorms both days as it will be quite humid as well.

Next Wednesday the cold front will pass through and a low pressure area may start to form along the East Coast, bringing us some showers and cooler weather for the middle to end of next week with highs dropping to the low to mid 60’s on Wednesday and Thursday, before rising to the low 70’s next Friday.

After the storm finally passes by next Friday it will drag cooler air down from Canada, continuing the chance for some showers through next Monday, and also dropping high temperatures to the low 60’s for next weekend and into the beginning of the following week.
