Anyone planning a trip to the beach today or tomorrow will
need to keep an eye out for rip tides from the hurricane off the coast.
Today through Saturday will be beautiful with highs in the
mid to upper 70’s.
Sunday there will be increasing cloudiness, but it will be
warmer as warm air surges north into our area ahead of an approaching cold
front, with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon or at night. The high will be in the mid to upper 80’s.
Labor Day (Monday) and Tuesday there will be variably cloudy
skies with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm and highs will be in the low to
mid 80’s.
Wednesday through next Friday will be mostly sunny and warm,
with highs in the 80’s.
Next weekend there will be a chance of a shower or
thunderstorm each day with highs in the low 90’s as warm air once again surges
north into our area ahead of an approaching cold front.
Next Tuesday will be cooler behind the front with a chance
of a shower or thunderstorm and a high in the upper 70’s.
Next Wednesday a low pressure area may form along the
stalled out cold front, bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms and much
cooler weather with highs possibly only in the low 60’s.
