What had looked like a really nice week, excluding Thursday,
has turned not so great on the latest model run…
Highs will be in the 70’s through Friday, except for
Thursday when we could hit 80. It will
however be unsettled with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm today and
Wednesday and a bit better chance tomorrow.
Thursday a cold front will approach, bringing a chance of
showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon or at night. The high on Thursday will be around 80 as
warm air surges north into our area ahead of the approaching cold front.
The front that reached our area on Thursday night is now
looking likely to stall out and become a coastal front. If this were to occur it would bring us a
chance of a shower or thunderstorm on Friday with a high in the mid 70’s. This would be followed by a chance for heavy showers
and thunderstorms on Saturday as the cold front becomes a coastal front and
stalls out with moist air funneling into our area from the south and off the
ocean. This could bring us some flooding
rains during the day on Saturday, especially in the morning and afternoon. The high would be in the upper 60’s on
Saturday.
Sunday and next Monday should then be mostly sunny but quite
cool behind the front with lows dropping to the mid to upper 40’s and highs in
the upper 60’s.
Next Tuesday another
cold front may approach our area, bringing a chance of showers and
thunderstorms and highs in the low to mid 60’s.
Next Wednesday through Friday should be nice, but cool, with
lows in the mid to upper 40’s and highs in the mid to upper 60’s.
Next Saturday and Sunday there will be a chance of a shower
or thunderstorm with highs in the mid to upper 60’s.
