Sunday, September 14, 2014 - Weather Discussion

The low hit 46 degrees at my weather station this morning in Northwestern New Jersey and there is a chance of the first frost in areas of Northwest New Jersey by the end of the two-week period…

Today and tomorrow will be mostly sunny but cool, with the high today only in the mid to upper 60’s with full sunshine and around 70 tomorrow.  The low will again reach the mid to upper 40’s tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow there will be showers and thunderstorms heavy at times early in the morning, followed by clearing and a high again around 70.

Wednesday through Friday will be mostly sunny but cool with morning lows dropping to the mid to upper 40’s on Wednesday and Thursday and highs mainly in the upper 60’s.

Next Saturday through Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day and highs rising from the mid to upper 60’s on Saturday to the mid 70’s on Monday.

Next Tuesday should be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70’s.

Next Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front approaches our area.  The high next Wednesday should be in the low 70’s.

Next Thursday through Saturday should be mostly sunny but it may be quite cool with the first chance of a frost in areas of Northwestern New Jersey by next Saturday morning.  Highs will range from the mid 50’s to the mid 60’s with lows possibly dropping as low as the mid 30’s in some areas of Northwest New Jersey by next Saturday morning.
