A frost is possible in the coldest locations of Northern New
Jersey tomorrow morning.
Late October in Northern New Jersey has proven in the past
to be a very unsettled period of time and this year looks no different. We will have very unsettled weather over the
next two weeks with bouts of showers and thunderstorms from time to time.
The most interesting time periods look to be the middle of
the next two weeks when Nor’easters or something similar form over our area,
bringing the possibility of some heavy rains.
The more interesting possibility of two looks be the middle of the week
after next when there is the possibility of a strong Nor’easter forming and
possibly combining with some tropical moisture moving in off the Atlantic Ocean
and some cold air moving down from Canada.
This has the potential to create some interesting weather around here
come the middle of the week after next.
It is often difficult to determine this far in advance what
will happen with the storm for the week after next as the models tend to see
the possibilities but often are not able to put all the pieces together until
we get closer in time. We will just have
to wait and see what happens. Stay tuned…
