Thursday, October 2, 2014 - Morning Weather Discussion

The weather will remain rather unsettled through around mid day or early afternoon on Saturday with a slight chance of a shower today and increasing cloudiness late tomorrow with showers and thunderstorms likely late at night, most likely after 10 pm or midnight.  The showers and thunderstorms will become heavy at times early on Saturday morning before ending by around mid day on Saturday or early Saturday afternoon.  The highs will be in the mid to upper 60’s today and tomorrow and the low 70’s on Saturday.

Sunday and Monday should then be nice, but quite cool with lows dropping to around 40 and possibly below 40 in some locations on Monday morning and highs will be only in the low 60’s on Sunday, rising to the upper 60’s on Monday.

On Tuesday a cold front will approach, bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms and highs in the low 70’s.

On Wednesday a low pressure area may form along the Gulf Coast in association with the cold front, then move northeast, right over us on Wednesday, bringing a chance for rain and highs in the upper 60’s.

Next Thursday through Saturday should then be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60’s to low 70’s.

Next Sunday there will again be a chance of rain with the next cold front and highs in the mid 60’s.

Next Monday through Wednesday should then be nice but quite cool, with lows possibly dropping to the mid to upper 30’s next Tuesday and highs rising from the mid 50’s next Monday to the mid 60’s next Wednesday.
