Wednesday, October 22, 2014 - Morning Weather Discussion

Well, I had been talking about a possible Nor’easter for the beginning of this week for about 2 weeks now.  It all started to come true yesterday when hail and water spouts were seen along Coastal New Jersey and very heavy rains popped up over localized sections of Northeastern New Jersey late yesterday.

As the Nor’easter continues to strengthen today the rains should pick up this afternoon and tonight, before tapering to showers again tomorrow and only a slight chance on Friday.  The highs will be only in the low 50’s today, the low to mid 50’s tomorrow, then the mid 50’s on Friday.

Saturday we will have a nice morning, followed by increasing cloudiness and a slight chance of a shower at night.  It will be warmer with a high in the low 60’s.

Sunday we will have a slight chance of a shower and it will be cooler with a high in the low to mid 50’s.

Monday will be nice but cool with lows dropping to the mid 30’s to low 40’s and the highs in the mid 50’s.

Tuesday will be nice and much warmer with highs in the upper 60’s.

Wednesday will continue to be warm with highs in the upper 60’s, but there will be a slight chance of a shower as a cold front approaches.

Next Thursday through Saturday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower each day and highs will be in the mid 50’s next Thursday, dropping to around 50 next Friday, then rising to the mid 60’s next Saturday as a cold front approaches.

Next Sunday will then be much colder behind the cold front with temperatures remaining in the low to mid 40’s during the day, dropping into the mid to upper 30’s at night with a chance of a snow shower.

Next Monday should be nice, but very cold with lows in the 20’s and highs only in the low to mid 40’s.

Next Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a snow shower at night.  Lows will be around 30 and highs will be in the mid 40’s.
