First Few Flakes Just Started Falling - Temperature 40 Degrees

Yes, it can snow when it is well above freezing under the correct conditions. The first few wet snow flakes just started falling here with a temperature of 40 degrees.  It will start as either rain or wet snow everywhere before rather quickly changing to snow over the next couple of hours.
