Saturday, November 29, 2014 - Morning Weather Discussion

An active weather pattern is ahead...

We will have a frontal system wiggling and waggling, back and forth, north and south of our area this week, with weak storm systems travelling along it.  The front is moving through today as a warm front, bringing us some clouds and warmer weather for tomorrow and Monday.

The front will then move south and through our area on Monday afternoon, bringing a chance of showers in the afternoon on Monday that could mix with or change to snow showers at night.   This will also bring us cooler weather for Tuesday.

Then Tuesday night the front will move back through as a warm front, bringing a chance for some light snow early on Wednesday morning that will turn to light rain by daybreak on Wednesday.  We will then have a chance of showers the rest of the day on Wednesday and it will be warmer.

Then Thursday through Saturday the front will be located very close to our area and depending on whether it sets up to t our north or south we will have a chance of either rain or snow Thursday through Saturday.

Next Sunday and Monday should then be nice before a storm approaches from the west that may very well become a coastal storm or Nor’easter for next Tuesday through Thursday morning, bringing us the chance for either rain or snow.

It should clear out for next Thursday afternoon through Friday, but don’t be surprised if rain or snow pops back up in the forecast for the following weekend as another Nor’easter may develop along the Middle Atlantic Coast.

Be sure to check back for updates as we will have an active weather pattern and we have to watch the Thursday through Saturday time period to see where the front sets up.  It will likely line up east to west very close to our area.  If it lines up just to out north we will have rain and if it lines up just to our south we would have a good chance at snow.  We will have to wait and see.

If you want to escape the cold and snow, my dad happens to own a real estate company in Florida. Click here to view his company website.
