So, some ice and possibly a bit snow tomorrow, then near 60
on Sunday with rain, then some snow on Tuesday afternoon and evening, then
highs in the upper teens on Thursday, then what?
It will start out rather nice but cool today with highs in
the upper 30’s.
Tomorrow we will have increasing cloudiness with snow or
sleet developing between 10 am and 12 pm, then changing to sleet and then rain
or possibly freezing rain in Northwest NJ in the afternoon before changing to
rain everywhere in the evening. A
dusting to an inch of snow and ice accumulation is possible before the
changeover to rain in the evening, then rain overnight, low in the mid to upper
20’s, temperatures rising to the upper 30’s to low 40’s just before midnight.
Sunday we will have rain and highs will be in the mid to
upper 50’s as warm air surges northward into our area with the storm.
Monday the cold air will then start moving into our area
with highs being reached early in the pre-dawn hours with temperatures falling
to the upper 20’s to low 30’s before sunrise and holding steady all day.
Tuesday an Alberta Clipper will approach our area (a fast
moving low pressure area that drops down from Alberta Canada and moves quickly
across the Northern United States before exiting off the Middle Atlantic Coast),
bringing with it a chance of some snow and snow showers for Tuesday afternoon
and night. The highs on Tuesday will be
in the upper 20’s to low 30’s at night.
Wednesday morning the light snow and snow showers will end
early in the morning with a dusting to an inch or two of accumulation possible,
followed by variably cloudy skies and a chance of flurry. The highs will be in the mid to upper 20’s on
Wednesday.
Thursday through Saturday will then be nice but quite cold
with just a chance of a bit of light snow or snow showers on Friday
morning. The lows will drop to the mid
to upper single digits on Thursday morning, rising to the low to mid teens on
Friday and Saturday morning. The highs
will be in the upper teens to low 20’s on Thursday rising to the mid to upper
20’s next Friday and the upper 20’s to low 30’s on Saturday.
Next Sunday we will then have a chance of rain or snow as a
storm system approaches from the West.
The highs will be in the mid to upper 30’s.
Next Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to
upper 30’s.
Next Tuesday we will
then have another chance of rain or snow with a high in the mid to upper 30’s
as a storm approaches.
Next Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper
30’s.
