Major Nor'easter on Saturday, a weaker Nor'easter on Monday,
then it gets EXTREMELY COLD, then more chances for snow…
The European and British models (the two models with the
highest degree of accuracy) brought the storm a bit closer to the coast this
morning. This will cause snowfall
amounts to be a bit higher than what it looked like last evening. It now appears that snowfall amounts will be
generally 3-8 inches throughout Northern New Jersey with the possibility of
mixing with sleet or freezing rain as you near Rt. 78. The snow should start between around 11 pm
and 1 am tonight and end between 4 pm and 6 pm on Saturday evening.
Then the next storm will approach from the west and will
become a bit of a Nor'easter for Monday, with snow starting again between 9 pm
and midnight on Sunday night and ending around noon on Monday. Total accumulations should be 1-3 inches on
Monday.
It will then get EXTREMELY COLD for the rest of the two-week
period with temperatures possibly dropping to the low to mid single digits
BELOW ZERO on Tuesday morning and in the single digits most of the rest of the
period, with highs only in the upper teens to low 30’s through the period.
There is also a chance of another important Nor'easter early next week.

Please be sure to join me later as the new model data
arrives.
