The temperatures are remaining stubbornly below freezing in many locations while the precipitation is moving in already, so some freezing rain and sleet will be a problem at the start this morning. It should however rather quickly change over to rain as the warm air moves in. This was a bit of a surprise however that the temperatures remained below freezing.
