The worst of the storm is already over. I just recorded 7.5 inches of snowfall at my weather station in Allamuchy, Warren County, NJ. The rest of the day we will have on and off drizzle/freezing drizzle/snow/sleet with light accumulations. The storm moved in much quicker than expected with the majority of the precipitation.
As for the Monday storm potential. I will be analyzing the data here very closely over the next couple of hours. This potential storm is no joke at all but at the moment it appears that it will miss us just to the south and east, although it could brush us with a bit of snow on Monday. There is however a possibility that the storm could take a second swipe at us on Tuesday as it intensifies off the coast.
Check back later this morning for my weather discussion in regards to the Monday/Tuesday storm potential.
