Tomorrow will be one ugly day, and then we should get some
nice but cold weather the rest of the week, followed by warmer but unsettled
weather for the middle of next week…
Today will be variably cloudy but warmer with highs in the
low to mid 30’s.
Tomorrow morning the big concern will be the light freezing
rain for the morning commute as the roads could become quite slippery. Light
snow/sleet/freezing rain will develop between 3 am and 6 am with little to no
accumulation in Northeastern NJ and a dusting to a half of an inch in
Northwestern NJ. It will then change to
light rain in Northeastern NJ between 6 am and 8 am and in Northwestern NJ between
8 am and 10 am. We will then have rain
in the afternoon, possibly changing back to light snow in Northwestern NJ
between 7 pm and 9 pm and in Northeastern NJ between 9 pm and 11 pm, then
ending with a dusting of accumulation possible.
The high tomorrow should be in the mid 30’s.
Tuesday through
next Monday should be mostly nice with some variably cloudy skies mixed in as a
storm forms well off the coast on Wednesday and Thursday and a weak storm
approaches next weekend. Highs will warm
gradually from the mid to upper 20’s on Tuesday and Wednesday to the low to mid
40’s next Monday.
Next Tuesday we
will have chance of rain/snow/freezing rain/sleet and Wednesday rain or snow as
a storm system approaches from the west.
The highs should be in the low to mid 40’s.
Next Thursday
through Saturday should then be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30’s.
