The warm air will move in late this afternoon and early this
evening and the rain will finally come to an end tonight. The high today will be in the mid 50’s.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with highs in the low 30’s.
Tuesday an Alberta Clipper will approach. As I stated previously, often these storms
have very little moisture to work with and the track is very important with
these storms, as they have a narrow band of precipitation. The heaviest band of snow with this storm now
appears to be setting up across Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New
Jersey, where 1-2 inches of snow could fall.
Across Northern New Jersey we are more likely to get around an inch of
accumulation total. The light snow and
snow showers should start between about 8-9 am and end around 6-7 pm.
Wednesday and Thursday should then be variably cloudy with
just a chance of a flurry on Wednesday.
The high on Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 20’s, dropping to the
upper teens to low 20’s on Thursday with lows in the low to mid single digits
on Thursday morning.
Friday there will be a chance of light snow in the morning
with a dusting to an inch of accumulation possible, then variably cloudy skies
in the afternoon. The high on Friday
should be in the mid to upper 20’s.
Saturday should be variably cloudy with a high in the mid to
upper 20’s.
Next Sunday we will have a chance of snow showers in the
morning with highs in the low 30’s.
Next Monday we will have a chance of rain or snow as a storm
approaches from the west and attempts to develop a coastal low. The high will be in the mid 30’s.
Next Tuesday and Wednesday should then be mostly sunny with
highs in the mid 30’s.
Next Thursday another storm will approach from the west and
may develop a coastal storm. The high
will be in the mid 30’s.
Next Friday should be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30’s.
Next Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a
snow shower and highs in the mid 30’s.
