Tomorrow will be the calm before the storms.
Saturday an intense Nor'easter will form and affect our entire area. The snow should start around midnight tomorrow night and end between 4 pm and 6 pm on Saturday evening. Total accumulations should be 2-6 inches throughout almost all of New Jersey (except possibly Cape May County), Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southeastern New York State, Western and Central Long Island, New York City, and Western Connecticut. 1-3 inches is likely in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
There will be 6-12 inches or more in Eastern Connecticut, Rhode Island, Southeastern Massachusetts (excluding Cape Cod), and Southeastern Maine. There could be blizzard or near-blizzard conditions in these areas.
Northern New Jersey will be in the 2-6 inch range with the lowest amounts in far Northwestern New Jersey and the highest amounts across Central and Northeastern New Jersey.
Sunday will start out nice but clouds will increase in the afternoon as a storm approaches from the west. Snow will start between 10 pm and 1 am on Sunday night and continue into the afternoon or evening on Monday. Right now it looks as if total accumulations with this storm should again be in the 2-6 inch range.
It will then get very cold through the following week with highs only in the upper teens and 20's and the lows possibly dropping below zero on Wednesday morning and otherwise in the single digits to teens.
The next chance of snow would be some light snow or snow showers on Thursday, then we will have a chance of another Nor'easter next Sunday night into Monday.
