Thursday, January 29, 2015 - Evening Weather Discussion

Many chances for snow coming...  One starting here shortly...

Snow will develop between about 7 pm and 9 pm from west to east and may very well come down hard at the start. The snow will continue on and off through about early tomorrow afternoon before coming to an end with total accumulations mostly in the one to two inch range, with some accumulations over two inches possible. It will then get much colder with lows dropping to the low to mid single digits by Saturday morning. The high on Saturday will then be around 20.

Then Sunday night a storm will approach from the Southeastern United States, causing snow to develop between about 7 pm and 10 pm, and ending between about 4 pm and 6 pm on Monday evening.  Right now it appears that we could get significant accumulations depending on the exact track that this storm takes.  At the moment we are projected by the models to get about 4 inches of snow but this could go up or down depending on the exact track that the storm takes.

Then Tuesday morning it will get VERY COLD with lows likely dropping to 5 to 10 degrees BELOW ZERO and highs only in the upper teens.

Then the next storm may approach on Wednesday night and Thursday, bringing another chance for snow.

Please join me in the morning for the latest information.
