It will be very cold with a bit of snow ahead and the CHANCE
of a more significant snowstorm for the middle of next week.
Today an Alberta Clipper will bring us a half of an inch to
an inch of snow starting between 6 am and 8 am and ending between 5 pm and 7
pm.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy in the morning with a
chance of a snow shower in the afternoon.
Highs tomorrow will be in the low to mid 20’s.
Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high in the low 20’s.
Friday morning a weak storm system will approach, bringing
us a chance of light snow/snow showers/flurries in the morning, possibly
accumulating to a dusting to a half of an inch with a high in the upper 20’s to
low 30’s.
Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high in the mid 20’s.
Sunday clouds will increase in the afternoon as a storm
system approaches from the south. The
storm could come close enough to us to bring us a bit of light snow on Sunday
night and Monday, maybe. The high on
Sunday should be in the low 30’s and the mid 30’s on Monday.
For the middle of next week there is a chance of a coastal
storm developing sometime between next Tuesday and Thursday. If this storm does develop there would be chance
of snow on at least one of these days but it is still hard to tell whether this
storm would develop on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, so I just put variably
cloudy with a chance of snow for all three days for now, but please keep in
mind that this storm may or may not happen at all, and if it does, it is still
too early to tell which days it would affect our area. The highs next Tuesday through Thursday
should be in the low to mid 30’s.
Next Friday should then be mostly sunny with highs in the low
30’s.
Next Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of snow
and highs in the low to mid 30’s.
It should then warm up as we head into the following week
with highs in the upper 30’s next Sunday and the low to mid 40’s next Monday
with a chance of rain at night.
