The high today at my weather station was only 19 degrees and the low tonight will likely approach zero as the temperature has already fallen to 10. The high tomorrow should be in the low 20's.
Friday morning we will likely have a bit more snow than we had today but less than we had yesterday. We should end up with around a half of an inch Friday morning. The high on Friday should be in the low 30's.
Saturday and Sunday should then be nice with lows dropping to around 10 on Saturday morning and highs around 20 on Saturday and the low 30's on Sunday.
Then next week things very well might get interesting around here as a frontal system will likely stall out just to our south and east, allowing areas of low pressure to ride along it. This would bring us the chance of precipitation from Monday through Thursday next week. It is still too early to tell whether it would be rain or snow at this point but we need to keep a close eye on this situation as the potential is definitely there for wintry weather and possibly even substantial quantities of wintry weather next week. My best guess right now is that we would have light snow Monday and Tuesday, then a more important coastal storm would develop for next Wednesday night into Thursday with the potential for that to be a significant snowstorm. However, we have already seen several of these potentials to disappear or become rainstorms as we get closer in this winter, so let's wait and see what happens.
After these potential storms pass, things should clear out for next Friday and Saturday, followed by a chance of rain or snow next Sunday night and again the following Wednesday night into Thursday.
