Friday, March 27, 2015 - Evening Weather Discussion

There was a bit of snow in some places this morning, with a dusting here at my location and reports of 1.2 inches in Roxbury Township, Morris County, and 1.6 inches at Highland Lakes in Sussex County.

But finally...

Things are starting to look better if you want to put this winter behind us, but we don't have the all-clear just yet.

It will be cold tomorrow with just a chance of a snow shower or flurry but any accumulations are likely to be limited to only possibly on the eastern end of Long Island.

Sunday should then be nice, followed by a chance of some rain or snow showers on Monday, although there likely won't be any accumulation.

Tuesday clouds will increase and there will be a chance of some light accumulation of snow on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. This might be the last accumulation of snow for this winter, maybe.

Wednesday should then be nice, followed by a chance of showers on Thursday and Friday.

Then things are really starting to look up for next weekend as the potential storm for next weekend has now been delayed until next Monday and by then it should be warm enough for rain.

So, if things remain on track, the last chance for accumulating snow until next winter might be on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. We shall see.

Have a wonderful evening and THINK SPRING!!!
