Thankfully, it will warm up quite a bit this week, probably
breaking 50 on Wednesday, but then a cold front comes through just in time for
a storm to head our way…
Today we have a few snow showers and light freezing rain
passing through this morning but it will clear out later and warm to the low to
mid 40’s.
Tomorrow a weak storm system will approach, bringing with it
some light rain in the afternoon and at night. The highs on Tuesday will be in
the mid to upper 40’s.
Wednesday the light rain will end early in the morning and
then it will clear out and warm to the low 50’s.
Thursday should then be mostly sunny but cooler with highs
in the low 40’s.
Friday a storm will approach from the Gulf Coast at the same
time that a cold high pressure will be building down from Canada into our area.
Depending on exactly where the cold front sets up we will have rain, freezing
rain, sleet, or snow from Friday afternoon or evening through Saturday and
possibly into Sunday morning. If the front sets up to our south we would have a
chance of significant snow and ice on Friday night and Saturday.
We will have to wait and see how this develops over the next few days.
After this storm passes it should be nice next Monday with a
high in the upper 40’s.
Next Tuesday a cold front will pass through our area, bringing
with it a chance of a shower but it should still be warm with highs in the upper
40’s.
Next Wednesday should be mostly sunny behind the front, but
cooler with highs in the low 40’s.
Next Thursday we will have a chance of rain or snow as a
storm system approaches from the west.
Next Friday and Saturday should be nice with highs in the low
40’s.
Next Sunday we will have a chance of rain or snow as a
coastal storm may develop.
Yes, no end to the chances for wintry-type weather right
into the end of March at least.
