Wednesday, November 25, 2015 - Evening Weather Discussion

It warms up just in time for the holiday, then a cold front approaches and...

Luckily it is warming up just in time for the holiday, with temperatures rising to the mid 50's tomorrow and the mid to upper 50's on Friday.

A  front will then approach our area for the weekend but we will stay on the warm side of this front as it stalls out to our north.  This will bring us some showers Saturday and Sunday.

Monday should dry out but then another front will approach with more showers on Tuesday that could be heavy at times Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Next Wednesday and Thursday will then be nice but quite cold.

Then next Friday we will have a chance of snow showers as a disturbance drops down from Canada into the cold air. At the moment it does NOT look as if this system will combine with a stronger system in the Gulf of Mexico, however if it does it would bring us the potential for an intense Nor'easter. Again, at this moment in time that is NOT looking likely but I will certainly keep a close eye on it just in case as there will be a lot of cold air in place in our area.

Next Saturday through Monday should then be nice and warmer.

Next Tuesday we will have a chance of rain or snow as the next storm system approaches.
