Saturday, April 30, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

Probably safe to plant and rainy and cool weather to continue for rest of week, then the warmth returns next Sunday…

It is probably safe to plant at this point. I don’t envision any frosts or freezes from now on.

It will remain damp and cold through next week with a good chance of rain tomorrow into Monday morning and then again Thursday into Friday as a there is the potential for a strong Nor’easter to form along the East Coast Thursday and then stall out for a few days.

Highs for the next week will range from only the upper 40’s in some locations tomorrow to the low to mid 60’s on Monday if the sun comes out late in the afternoon.

Then finally the warmth will return next Sunday with highs likely reaching the 70’s next Monday and likely remaining around 70 or in the 70’s for the following week. There will however be a chance for a shower next Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Have a great day!
