I have advertised a potential heat wave here for many days now and it has arrived. The heat and humidity will be with us today through Sunday, with highs ranging from mainly the mid 80’s to the low to even mid 90’s in some places. There will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the late afternoon or evening Friday and Saturday with the heating of the day, with a bit greater chance on Sunday afternoon and evening.
Unfortunately, things will not be as nice for Memorial Day with an increased chance for showers and thunderstorms that should keep many places in the 70’s.
Things will likely clear out and warm back into the 80’s for Tuesday and next Wednesday, but then cool back down to more normal levels next Thursday through Tuesday.
