Much more quiet but possibly HOT Monday…
Click here to view a story about the damage from the storms yesterday in Warren County, NJ.
It will be much more quiet today through Sunday but it may get quite hot on Monday with the potential of highs reaching the mid 90’s in many inland locations.
Monday a cold front will approach our area, passing through on Tuesday. This will bring us a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm Monday and a good chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the morning on Tuesday, then clearing. Highs could reach the mid 90’s inland Monday, dropping to the low 80’s inland Tuesday.
Wednesday and Thursday should then be nice, with just a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm Thursday. Highs should be mainly in the 80’s.
Next Friday and Saturday should then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day. It may be quite warm with highs in the low to mid 90’s inland.
Next Sunday and Monday may continue to be warm with highs in the mid 90’s inland next Sunday, dropping to the mid to upper 80’s next Monday.
Next Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front approaches. Highs will be in the low to mid 80’s.
Next Wednesday should be mostly sunny with highs around 80.
Next Thursday looks to be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm and highs in the mid to upper 70’s.
Don’t forget to install the new Edge Weather app if you did not already do so.
Search “edgeweather” in the Apple App Store or in the Google Play Store.
The fastest way to access the Edge Weather forecasts through the app is to click on the Edge Weather logo on the top third of the screen, or under the buttons for the Edge Weather Forecasts under the “About Edge Weather” and “Social Media” sections of the app.
Some improvements in the new app:
Useful links now available on the side bar that can be accessed by pressing the blue button on the top right of the screen. The useful links has access to key terms, local weather links, radar links, satellite links, and prior forecasts when I forecast storms from two weeks in advance.
Under "About Edge Weather" you will find links to some newspaper articles that I appeared in previously, as well as ways to submit photos or contact me.
Under "Social Media" you will find links to easily access Edge Weather on Twitter and on Facebook, as well as a new feature, “Edge Weather Forum”, where you can share any thoughts and ideas, and now Edge Weather YouTube videos!
Also added was an option to share the app with your friends in the "About Edge Weather" and "Social Media" sections of the app, as well as on the side bar, so please go ahead and share the app with your friends.
Enjoy and submit your recommendations under the appropriate link. I am always looking for good ideas.
