The heat has arrived. Will someone hit 100 tomorrow?
Well, I have been talking about the potential for heat today through Friday for quite some time now and it has arrived. It will be hot today through Saturday, with the warmest day being tomorrow. The highs will be in the low to mid 90’s in many inland locations with the strong possibility of some upper 90’s in parts of inland Central and Northeastern NJ tomorrow and some lucky, or unlucky depending on how you look at it, person hitting 100. There will be a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm tomorrow.
Friday will likely be a bit cooler with highs in the mid to upper 80’s in most places as there will be a better chance of some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms as a cold front approaches.
Saturday and Sunday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm Saturday and a slight chance on Sunday. Saturday will still be hot with highs around 90 in many places, dropping back to the low to mid 80’s in most places on Sunday as the cooler air starts to filer into our area.
Monday through next Wednesday then look mostly sunny with highs in the 80’s.
Next Thursday and Friday look to be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm and highs mainly in the mid to upper 80’s.
Next Saturday through Tuesday then look hot with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day and highs mainly in the 90’s.
Have a fantastic day and try to stay cool.
Don’t forget to install the new Edge Weather app if you did not already do so.
Search “edgeweather” in the Apple App Store or in the Google Play Store.
The fastest way to access the Edge Weather forecasts through the app is to click on the Edge Weather logo on the top third of the screen, or under the buttons for the Edge Weather Forecasts under the “About Edge Weather” and “Social Media” sections of the app.
Some improvements in the new app:
Useful links now available on the side bar that can be accessed by pressing the blue button on the top right of the screen. The useful links has access to key terms, local weather links, radar links, satellite links, and prior forecasts when I forecast storms from two weeks in advance.
Under "About Edge Weather" you will find links to some newspaper articles that I appeared in previously, as well as ways to submit photos or contact me.
Under "Social Media" you will find links to easily access Edge Weather on Twitter and on Facebook, as well as a new feature, “Edge Weather Forum”, where you can share any thoughts and ideas, and now Edge Weather YouTube videos!
Also added was an option to share the app with your friends in the "About Edge Weather" and "Social Media" sections of the app, as well as on the side bar, so please go ahead and share the app with your friends.
Enjoy and submit your recommendations under the appropriate link. I am always looking for good ideas.
