Thursday, August 18, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

Warm through Saturday and then cooler with showers/thunderstorms…

It will be warm through Saturday with highs mainly in the mid to upper 80’s and some low 90’s possible today and tomorrow.

Sunday a cold front will approach our area, bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. It will also be a bit cooler with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Monday through next Thursday should then be nice and cooler with highs in the upper 70’s in many places Monday and Tuesday, rising to the low to mid 80’s Wednesday and next Thursday.

Next Friday we will have increasing cloudiness with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm at night and continuing through next Sunday as a cold front slowly approaches our area. Highs should be in the in the mid to upper 80’s next Friday, the upper 70’s to low 80’s next Saturday, and the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Sunday.

Next Monday through Wednesday should then be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80’s next Monday, then dropping to the low to mid 70’s next Tuesday and Wednesday as the cooler air finally filters into our area behind the cold front from Sunday.

Have a fantastic day!
