Nice today and tomorrow, but then…
Happy Friday!
46 degrees this morning at my weather station in Allamuchy Township, Warren County, New Jersey.
It will be very nice today and tomorrow with highs in the 70’s today, rising to the mid 70’s to mid 80’s tomorrow.
Sunday we will have increasing cloudiness as a strong disturbance approaches our area. Showers and thunderstorms will start to develop north of roughly Rt. 80 in the morning in NJ and north of roughly Rt. 78 in PA, and south of Rt. 80 in NJ late in the afternoon or at night. Showers and thunderstorms will then be heavy late Sunday night into early Monday. There could be some flash flooding.
Things will then clear our Monday afternoon with highs in the 70’s.
Tuesday through next Saturday will then be nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s in most places Tuesday through Thursday, rising to the mid to upper 80’s in most inland locations next Friday and Saturday.
Next Sunday through Thursday will then be variably cloudy with at least a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day and highs generally in the upper 70’s to low 80’s.
We will also have to watch as Tropical Storm Karl approaches the East Coast. Karl is likely to become a strong hurricane. Right now it appears as if Karl is likely to turn north and head safely out to sea, but it is still much too early to be certain of that, so be sure to check back for updates.
Have a fantastic day!
