Friday, September 9, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

Hot today and tomorrow, then a bit cooler…

It will continue to be hot today and tomorrow with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80’s with some low 90’s inland today and the upper 80’s to mid 90’s in many inland locations tomorrow.

Sunday we will have a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the morning and then things will clear out. Highs will range from the upper 70’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 80’s in East Central PA, Central and Northeastern NJ, NYC, and on Western Long Island.

Monday and Tuesday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 80’s in many inland locations.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 80’s in most places.

Thursday and Friday will then be mostly sunny and cooler with highs in the low to mid 70’s in most places.

Next Saturday we will have increasing cloudiness with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm at night. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s in most places.

Next Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s.

Next Monday through Thursday should then be cool and nice with lows dropping into the 40’s in many inland locations by next Tuesday and highs in the mid to upper 60’s by next Tuesday.
