Saturday, September 10, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

Cooler air is on the way…

One more day of heat today with highs in the mid 80’s to low 90’s in most inland locations. There will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm.

Tomorrow there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the morning as a cold front moves through, then things will clear out, leaving us with a beautiful late afternoon and evening. Highs will range from the mid to upper 70’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 80’s in Central NJ and NYC.

Monday and Tuesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s inland Monday, and the upper 70’s to mid 80’s inland Tuesday.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as another cold front approaches our area. Warm air will surge into our area ahead of the approaching cold front, allowing temperatures to rise to the mid 80’s to low 90’s inland.

Thursday and Friday will then be mostly sunny and cooler with highs in the low to mid 70’s Thursday and the mid 70’s to low 80’s Friday.

Next Saturday and Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm, possibly heavy at times next Sunday as a strong disturbance moves through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Monday and Tuesday should be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Monday and the mid to upper 60’s next Tuesday.

Next Wednesday and Thursday we will have variably cloudy skies with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front approaches. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to low 70’s next Wednesday and the low to mid 70’s next Thursday.

Next Friday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 70’s.
