Hermine leaves us alone but now a heat wave to deal with…
Hermine decided to leave us alone, heading out to sea, but now we will have to deal with a heat wave. The only real effects from Hermine will now be some gusty winds today and tomorrow, especially along the coast, as well as some high surf and possibly a bit of coastal flooding, but we will otherwise be very lucky this time. This will leave us with sunny skies and temperatures warming to the 90’s as early as Tuesday in some places, and to the mid to upper 90’s in many inland locations Wednesday through Saturday.
The next even slight chance of rain and cooler temperatures will be next Sunday with highs dropping to the low to mid 80’s and a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm.
Next Monday through Wednesday then look nice with highs in the 80’s.
Next Thursday we will have increasing cloudiness with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a cold front approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid 80’s.
Next Friday we will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms as the cold front moves through. Highs should be in the mid to upper 70’s.
Next Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70’s.
Have a fantastic day and let’s enjoy our luck with Hermine deciding to leave us alone…
